The Muskegon Area Chamber of Commerce, Access Health, & the Employers Association of West Michigan present "Ride On! Muskegon County Bikes to Work" day!
The purpose of “Ride On!,” scheduled for Wednesday, August 20, 2008, is to promote healthier lifestyles through the use of healthy, alternative forms of transportation and to reinforce to our community members that bicycling is a viable way to save money on transportation cost.

Looking forward to it!
I ride my bike to work all summer and I have been happy to see more riders out there than ever before. Great Job Muskegon!
This was great!! Thanks to all the drivers for sharing the road!
whew! I made it! I was a trek and I got a little dirty & sweaty but I did it! Don't know if I could ride to work regularly, but this definitely got me to dust of the bike, pump up the tires, and see the scenic routes of Muskegon!
WOW...that was great. I wouldlove to do that every day. I felt invigorated when I got to work and someone even said I "glowed"...i think that was sweat.
This needs to be come a regular program!!!
Thank you to the committee for putting this together!!!
This was great. I saw two other Ride On bikers this morning and at least 20 walkers. Riding through neighborhoods was such a delight. What a happy way to start a day.
Piece of cake. I'm not an avid rider, at least not before this event, so I wasn't sure about the time and effort involved with riding to work. I rode comfortably from the K-Mart Plaza on Henry to Downtown Muskegon in just 20-25 minutes. I'm keeping my bike at my office, and I can't wait for next year!!
Awesome!!!!! Great way to start and end the day... Please, please keep promoting wonderful healthy events. I am proud to be a part of it and look forward to more great things for the Muskegon area.
I enjoyed the bike ride to work and back. It was invigorating in the cool morning air.
How do we find out the number of participants and more information on the prizes?
Keep encouraging good health!!
Disappointing... I registered online and received no confirmation (other than the one at time of registration). It seems like there would have been at least a follow-up e-mail confirming that my registration was received and giving more details about participation. There was no information detailing the times somebody would be at the Hub Stations.
The day of the ride, I saw no other riders on the road or on the Lakeshore trail both to and from work. It was on Wednesday Aug 20, right?
This a great event, but needs better communication.
Great event! Our office had such good participation that no one had a car to get to our afternoon meetings! :)
